Guess yoiu could say that was kinda on purpose. This is a software bug and not
a virus. These are all strictly ASCII files that are getting hacked and viri
don't affect ASCII files. Apparently pointers to the text portion of the file
or linking pointers between headers are getting trashed, and it may be by the
HMI interface (all that CIM stuff). So there will be at least two groups
working on it. The forum support programmers and the HMI programmers. Yep!!!
HMI was written by a different set of programmers, and it was written from a
spec. Evidentally them guys never did use what they wrote….<g>.
HMI ain't even got the simplest of sysop commands in it.
Surprize, surprize! My waiting icon is now working again. It was non
functional for 11 days. Did the culprit scroll or did the programmers fix the
problem? I wonder if the problem will return? Thought you'd want to know.

don't go crazy on us now, it was only the forum scroll. New software hasn't
been distributed to the forums yet……so keep your fingers crossed.
