A CD-ROM caching program should make your drive speed up sequential
file accesses dramatically. Random accesses will speed up too, but
only by a little. This is from what I read from the back of a CD
Speedway box. I haven't tried it or Norton's, so no real evaluations
from me. CD Speedway was $50+.
