Roger, Pat and all METS and ETS….and all you educators out there…
I just unzipped and installed a new windows compuserve access program called
WINCIS. Similar to ATO, but very graphical. It's from the WUGNET forum
(Windows User Group network).
This thing is FANTASTIC! Roger, you must add it to your collection. I
know you like Windows and graphical access and you will positively LOVE this
one!
I just started experimenting with it (I have an Internet and Cserve
communication class this week and next week), and I like it!
Will play with it over the weekend, and get back with more info.
Try it out!

I've switched to the WinCIS also…..but are you using it "instead" of ATO??
I've not dug deep enough to set up any auto features it has. I
reall..really…really like the GUI though…eh??

Where is WinCIS? Sounds good….isn't Windows nice.

You can get WINCIS by downloading it from GO WINCIM here on CompuServe. There
was a remark that it was Beta, but I had thought it had gone past that to
"official" release. Reports from others who've used the Beta said it was
excellent. Yet, I'm still using DOS CIM (sorry 'bout that!).

A small correction … you get WinCis from GO WUGNET; (GO WINCIM will
get you WinCim … the names probably shouldn't be so similar). BTW, it _is_
still in beta, but available to anyone who wants to download it. It's still
evolving. There's only cursory documentation available right now, so it take a
little experimenting to find all the features.

PMJI, but I just saw an ad in teh new issue of CIS Mag for NavCIS by John
Dvorzak's company, in GUI DOS and Windows versions. They're downloadable from
somewhere on line.
