Bill, I've divided my forums (fora?) between ATO and WINCIS for the time being.. All MSDOS, Windows, and programming stuff is now handled through WINCIS, and Adesk, Cadence, IBMCom forums are handled by AutoSig. WinCIS does a VERY decent job: logging on to eight forums, collecting headers and messages, then loggin off and presenting them to me. I even asked it to bring in the IBMCOM file catalog, and I do my file browsing offline with it… My only Pet Peeve is that I have only one phone number to use. If i log in for messages, I want it to go with a slower speed. When I go for file downloads, I want the fastest connection I can get, and I haven't found a way to have TWO sets of phone numbers and configurations. Since WinCIS is only in its beta (.94C), I hesitate to put everything on it..but rest assured it will happen. Mark K.

Mark, It's very easy to have 2 phone setups in WinCis. Just go to the pull-down Settings, go to Phone number and put your second phone number in, then go to Communications port and put your second baud rate here, then go to File on the pull-down, hit Save configuration As … and give it a different name. Then, just go to Open configuration and choose whichever one you want to use in any given session … couldn't be easier. I, too, find problems, mainly with its thread handling and message filing, but it's off to a good start. John Schmidt
