The question I would have is, Can you use images off of the PAR board and
be rendering to it at the same time? Since I have limited HD space I
render straight to the PAR drive.

Tony,
re; your question on Hollywood F/X
As far as I can know, you would be able to use the PAR's HD to render the new
LW sequence while offloading the captured video sequence(s) from it as well. It
seems to me that PAR stores the frame info into it's internal frame buffer's
memory (thus allowing it to be completely renderred) before it actually writes
the finished image to the HD. Any mapped image sequence frame or field would
have finished it's particular "fetch" from the PAR's HD before the final frame
info is appended to the new sequence.

Since I asked you about that I wrote my own ARexx script to do exactly
that, use PAR anims for Image Maps in LW and be rendering back to the PAR
(using a different anim). I was going to u/l it here but I am going to add
a few things like file requesters, ect… and will u/l it as soon as I am
done with it.

Tony,
I would be very interested in that ARexx script. Any chance the requesters will
be 2.0 as opposed to 3.0? The machine I am using the 2000 for my PAR.
Frank
This script should work on any machine with ARexx and the
`rexxarplib.library'. I am using a A3000 with PAR and VT 2000.
I just posted a early version of the script that would work without any of
the fancy ARexx libraries but would require editing the script before
running.

Tony,
Sounds great, could you email me the new Arexx script when it's done? If not,
please let me know what library you post it in so I can DL it.
Thanks
Frank
I'll make sure I post a annoucement when I put the file up here.
