#VT4000 Effect Icons

I work for a software firm in Scottsdale, AZ…currently we are writing a
Window 3.1/NT app that accesses the VT4000 as part of an Video Edit
Station…our only problem is that we need the icons used for selecting
transition effects…Wipe Right, etc…we can control the VT4000 quite well,
but our screen would be ever so much prettier if we had screen captures from
the VT4000 "SWITCHER" screen.
MY PLEA:
Does anyone have, had or can get a hold of all 200+ transition icons? even if
you have some or most of them i would thank you mightily. we might be able to
work out a swap of services if someone has a choice, complete set…

I would strongly advise that you contact Newtek directly about icons for your
product. Besides the obvious trademark infringement you would be risking by
going elsewhere, you might find that opening a dialogue with them early on in
your development might allow better access to any new "hooks" they may have in
store for future releases of the switcher software. It is my understanding that
Newtek now encourages such contact since the new broom swept clean a few
pockets of resistance to cooperative development ventures.

not recieved well…but i give everybody a second chance, so i will try to
contact them today….thanks again
Pick up Video Toaster User (April 94). The "public" version is there in
much detail. Whatever "private" version exists, it's pretty much nobody's
business, right? 🙂
