Did you guys (or gals, as the case may be) get my VXL*30 in the mail yet? (from
Garry Nelson, 1409B Oleander Pl., Honolulu, HI 96818)
You'll have to call paravision at 214-644-0043 to find out –I don't
have direct access to incoming RMA records.

Thanx – I was wondering why MicroBotics wasn't listed in AW's manu list any
more (starting to worry, actually!) I called Paravision and they DO have my
card, btw.
I would like everyone in this forum to know the GREAT support I have received
from Paravision (MicroBotics new parent co.). Approx. 9 months ago, I purchased
a VXL*30 accel. card for my A500, which showed its appreciation by immediately
breaking down for an unrelated reason. I put off getting it fixed, and
purchased a used A2000 about 3 weeks ago. I put in the VXL card and it didn't
work. I took the machine to the local Amiga dealer, who told me the card was
outside of his ability to repair. I sadly sent the card back to MicroBotics –
without calling them first, miind you – I'm in the military and sometimes don;t
have time to practice wise business. 5 days later I called Paravision, after
finding out they had acquired MicroBotics, to see if they had recieved my card
– they had, and told me to call back in 4 days. I never got the chance – 2 days
later I received my card _FED EX_ – FIXED FOR NO CHARGE! NO CHARGE FOR
OVERNIGHT MAILING! =8) This is THE best service/support I have EVER received
from a computer company, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank
them in public. I still can't beleive it – FedEx to HAWAII! Anyone out there
who is thinking of buying a product needs to seriously consider this company's
merchandise, as support like this is priceless. Thank you, Paravision!!!!!!
Glad to hear your problem was so satisfactorily resolved.
Regards,
