Hi all, I've got the internal upgrade functioning ok. I had the downloads from here describing the upgrade but waited til I got my copy of Amazing before proceeding. Everything went very smoothly but watch how much space you put between your stacked memory chips, the daughter board must sit on top of them and if you space them too high you won't have any room to push the daughter board in. I have run the system for several hours without any trouble (heat, etc) and am very happy with the upgrade. To all of you who worked on the upgrade thanks so much for brining this to the rest of us.

Congratulations John, Could you also tell us if you put on Dave Haynie's mod for autoconfiguring? Regards, Larry.

Hi Larry, No, as yet I have not. I'm trying to get some 3.5 drives to work on the system. I picked up the drives from a place called Halted Specialities for $89 each. The drives are bare (no casing) but it will not be too hard to shove several drives and a power supply into a case. I haven't gotten 1.2 yet, the local dealer has been saying "TOMORROW" every day now since mid fall. They did receive 150 copies back then but were sold out in around 2 hours (sigh). Has anyone else put in the autoconfig circuit for the internal mod?? I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has. Thanks, John Sell 73647,1534

What kind of 3.5" drives did you get from Halted Specialities (brand name?). Where can I (in the diskless Midwest) get ahold of them?
