Having just entered into the world of 24bit graphics, via DCTV, I've been
looking at the 3/4 looking ito the 3/4D rendereing and animation. What
packages are recommended? I have an A3000, so I should be set for the math
involved, though I will say that raytracing would be nice, but not
necessary. I would like good modeling tools, and decent animation tools.
Direct rendereing to DCTV is a must. I've heard a lot of good reviews on
Aladdin 4D, and I've tried the demo version of Real3d, which I've liked so
far. Any comments would be appreciated…

I haven't tried Alladin 4D yet so I can't comment but if you have
the patience I Strongly Suggest getting Imagine 2.0. I say if you have the
patience because the Learning curve is Steep but the Resulting Images are
Breathtaking.I've tried the Demo of Rela#d and was unimpressed BTW.I also
have Caligari Broadcast and I shudder everytime I see the Box.
