I am using an Everex Step 486/33 with 36 Megs of ram. As a memory manager I
use QEMM 7.02. I am also part of a peer to peer network with Netware Lite.
For animation, I have a Truevision Targa 32+ installed. Does this help?

My suggestion is for you to try to determine is your networking hw and
your targa card are conflicting with 3ds. You would do this by simplifying
your config.sys to files=, buffers= and simplify your autoexec.bat to a
path=C:….. and load mouse statement.
Does your problem persists in this environment? no..
Add your QEMM back but still no networking or targa.
Does 3DS work? Does your problem exist now? no…
Add back your networking.
Does 3DS work? Does your problem exist now? no…
Add back your Targa.
Does 3DS work? Does your problem exist now?….
This is the recommended procedure for identifying conflicts and
isolating problems. Please try this and report where it fails.
