Hello.
I am a photographer interested in working with 3-D objects to manipulate my
photo's. I have heard that this program is what I am looking for, but have
little
information at this point. Can you help get me started in the right direction?
Do you know of retailers of the software in New York City? Someone in the Yost
group reccommended I start here. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm not sure what you mean by using "3D objects to manipulate photos" but…
If you want to look at the software and find out more information, call
800-879-4233. This is the dealer referal line. They will tell you who the
dealers are in your area, and you can go look at the software and discuss in
detail what you are trying to accomplish.
Also, a better explanation of what you are trying to do here will get many
responses concerning techniques and the best way to do things.

100,000… wow… I was waiting for this day… There was speculation on
what the counter would do. would it reset? continue? whould there be
joy? wow [again]!
I've been dreading this day. Another digit to type when reading threads… So
I've made a new Procom macro that does a read thread:10, and that way I only
have to type four digits!

You'd be surprised. I've been doing CIS without "automation" for 10 years now,
and I've got all my own little techniques for doing things just the way _I_
want to.

Hmmmm. Well, as long as you've put THAT much work into it, and since you seem
to be satisfied with the results, I GUESS we'll let you pass without a bunch of
"But Gary — You should try MY comm program!" stuff!<g>
After all, we wouldn't want to slow down any of those quick replies to
plaintive cries for help!

Yeah, well… at least I use Procomm for Windows. <g>
Jamie came over last Saturday and installed WinCim on my computer to show me
what I'm missing. Yeesh.

You should check out the Cserve Navigator! Sweeeeeeet! Download every message
in the forum in under 5 minutes, read and respond offline — seems to have a
couple of bugs yet, but nothing serious.

Well… since I've got free access to CIS, reading messages offline isn't as
great an incentive as it would be if I had to pay for it. I'm very happy with
my current (archaic) system.

I didn't realize I had posted such a monumental message until I got home later
that evening. There was a call waiting for me on my machine from Compuserve
