Hi Impulse (Mike)
"Your vesa card is not compliant with the standards, I dare say that you
should get an updated vesa driver and all should be well."
Thanks, you hit the nail on the head, apparantly not all vesa drivers
are created equal. Replacing my Genoa with a spare Diamond Stealth 24 solved
the problem. I am still curious as to why the program tells me I have only
10Meg of memory. If I bypass the config and autoexec files on boot up the
program tells me I have 12Meg, which is still 8Meg short of what is actually in
the system. Any ideas?
Thanks Ralph Marbach
Ralph,
My guess, you are running a mem manager and it is keeping the memory
from Imagine, not a good idea, it works but you will go faster without the mem
manager, we have our own built in Mem manger, it kinda sucks but it was the
only way we could get speed,
Mike
