sline objects?

I was wondering if you are impementing spline object building into Imagine
3.0? I am a Director at Warner Bros. Animation and recently one of the
producers and myself have been working with Playmation after previously
working with Imagine. Being that we do character animation, sline object
creation and animation fits into our needs better than polygon objects.
Frankly we have a hard time with playmations interface and speed. We also
prefer Imagines rendering capabilities. We also would like to be able to
combine polygon and spline objects for certain effects. I would like to
talk with you more at lenght about this. Also how about 040 optimized
code? I realize floating Point works fine on the 040 but it would really
fly with code optimized for the 040.

Rusty, drop Impulse a note directly. I'm sure they'd love to see some of
your work with Imagine as well.
Splines play a big part of Imagine 3.0, I'm told, although I haven't seen
anything first hand. –Rick
I shall send them a note! Well if anyone watches Tiny Toon Adventures
there is some of my work in an episode called "Toon TV II". Actually wrote
an article in AW about it! Thanks for the reply! Rusty
Ahh so yer the Creator of the Plucky Starship eh?

Good Work matey.I enjoyed the article in AW about the Starship Plucky.
Thank you. Did you catch the show when it was aired?
Spaces?Wedon'tneednoSTINKIN'spaces. hahahahahahahaha so a space after a

You did it it!!!!
426 posted messages and 713 periods later, he did it. A space after the
period! This is a major milestone in this forum.

Hehehehehehe I've posted 426 messages? Egads I'm a blabbermouth.
So, Peter, while we're blabbing… Have you contempled how much more
managable (compact) that huge 1701-D Enterprise would be if Imagine could
model with true splines? I think that object is a perfect example of how
problematic curved surfaces are in a planes-only modeler.
