#A3000 – None left

I finally got thru to them today…only A4000's for sale. Bummer.
How many A3000s could they have had and sold at that price? They didn't
have any at all of any kind when I called in January. If they got more
than one or two in, why didn't they sell them to make a profit?
Sounds like a pretty questionable advertisement to me.

I didn't see the start of this thread, but I am guessing that you are talking
about Creative Computers Spring Clearance ad. I don't know how many 3000s they
supposedly had, but my brother got through to them the day after we got the ad,
and supposedly they are sending 2 of them to him. He called back last Friday
and they confirmed that at least one of them was already shipped (I think he
said the one for $275). I will admit that I am not a big fan of Creative
Computers but from what I can tell those prices in that ad were for real… I
didn't hear if any of it was supposed to be used though.

Yes by what I know those prices were real,
Unfortunatly by the time AmigaWorld made it to my doorstep it
had already made its way to 4 million others so needless to
say 99.9% of the "good" stuff has already been sold.
