out of slots!

i dunno, my 3000 also has 4 slots but only has 2 ibm-at slots. the 3000
case is also smaller than the 4000, i guess pizza box cases were in style
then. 🙂 i would like to get a bridgeboard, but i won't be able to make
any real use of it until i can find a basic 3000T for a good price. i
really wish the 3000 came in a "refined" 2000 case (mouse, joystick,
keyboard ports on the right side, a tade slimmer). oh well. 🙂
could be worse, could be no slots. 🙂

Bob,
I was wondering if there is a company out there that manufactures tower
cases for the A4000. I know other companies in the past have done this for
the other Amiga models. My machine is totally stuffed! I want to add an
Emplant, but I won't be able to until I get some sort of expansion box.
Thanks,
Mike

i don't know of any. i am not sure the 2000 tower cases would work because
of the 4000's daughter board. maybe one of the hardware gurus here can
shed more light onto the problem.

As for expansion chassis, Ambitious Technologies (Gardena, CA; area code 310)
makes one. Essentially you move all of your A4000 guts into this hugh tower
chassis that has room for drives, power to run them, and slots for everything.
Yes. Its called the Toaster Oven, and as I recall, there was a dealer on
delivered to TS Computers in Burbank shortly after WOCA Pasedana last
Sept.
