I have a suggestion for Imagine3.0. I find if you use the CHECK OBJ function in the detail editor you can't cancel the checking. I had to reset the computer to get out of this after I clicked on the Ok a hundred times or so. I know what the problem is with my object, it would be nice to cancel this some how. Can't seem to load any DXF objects. Display's "Entities Section not Found" tried a couple DXF files found here on CIS without any luck. As for the postscript fonts, I've tried about 15 Type 1 pfb fonts and all I get is a single axis or a "missing encoding vector" message. Is there any way to change the draw icons for the projects. I think the look of 1.3 type draw icons is a little outdated.

There are many variations of DXF, and Imagine only handles a small subset. Unless you knew how the DXF file was created, and what sorts of data are stored in it, then you can't be assured of any useful data after conversion.

Mike, I have DynaCADD which will import DXF and then also export DXF objects for Imagine. I would be interested to try using it as a converter if you like. Give me a "yell" we could try a couple of smaller objects and find out what happens. Laurie Carroll AKL NZ Longdistance Autopilot
