David, if you have not yet solved your problem here is the simplest solution. There is an FLC player for the MAC. I found it as FLIVIEWR.SEA on one of the BBSs. The only information I have is the INFO information on the file. It is copyrighted by Midnight Oil Productions. First year of copyright was 1992. If you can't find this let me know and I will arrange for you to call me in my office in the evening and I can download it to you.

That sounds like something a lot of people can use! Is there a number or something we could call for permission to upload that player to this forum? -Brian

Brian, I only have the information I relayed earlier. That is what comes up with the File Info on the Mac. I'm not sure which BBS I downloaded it from but I will attempt to find out more about the file and keep you posted. If I can't get any information on the file I will go ahead and uplaod it and let the forum sysop decide.

<<If I can't get any information on the file I will go ahead and uplaod it and let the forum sysop decide.>> Well, that is your decision. We won't decide anything. We will just put it in the libraries. It is the uploaders responsibility to insure that they have rights to any file they upload. If it is already on another BBS, tell me where it is, and I will see if I can track down the owner and get permission.

I think I picked it up on The Classified Connection in San Diego, but I will check and get back to you.

Brian, I just uploaded the file to the AutoDesk Animator forum. The only information I can find on the file is that it is from Midnight Oil Software and I think written by Daniel Azuma. Let's play Sherlock Holmes and see if we can find the origin of this file. You're right about it being a useful tool.

<< Let's play Sherlock Holmes and see if we can find the origin of this file.>> Jolly good! You find the original BBS you downloaded it from, and we will track it from there. -Brian
