I know this question has been asked before, but I can't remember the answer for the life of me… How do you keep the camera from doing a 180 degree flip when you pivot it over the top of an object in the Keyframer? I've tried slaving it and the target to a dummy object and then rotating the dummy object, but no dice, it still flips around. Where am I going wrong? -JohnS

John, I have come across the same thing while animating a loop the loop ride. That's just the way cameras seem to work in 3d space (Softimage does exactly the same thing, FWIW). The workaround is to find the frame where the flip occurs and then keyframe a 180 degree roll of the camera to nullify the unintended flip. Then when the camera flips back again you keyframe a roll back to 0 degrees. It's the only way I know to counteract this 3d phenomenon. If field-rendering then you'd find might see a glitch on the 1 frame camera roll which I can't think how to avoid at the moment <g>. That'll be your challenge <G>.
