#9653-WINDOWS 3.11 — declared parent_msg_num=9653, resolved parent_id points to #(none)
Microsoft's numbering is rather confusing. Windows 3.11 is simply a
bug-fix type interim release. My suggestion (others might differ, of
course) is that if your current Windows setup ain't causing you
trouble, simply ignore it. Windows-for-Workgroups is also numbered
3.11 (that's the confusing part). This product (usually referred to
on-line as WfWG) is a significant upgrade. While intended as a
networked product (hence the name), the product does lots of nice
things for single user setups. This one is worth considering.
May I suggest that you post your messages with "normal" text like
this? YOURS WAS IN ALL CAPS which is both hard to read and is used
on-line as a way of shouting. thanks
