I'm running the Texel DM-3024 with FD850 from HDI as you are. I've also
got the drivers all loaded into high-memory using QEMM v6.02 and I'm
experiencing no problems.
I don't have the Carmen disk however.
I'll be more than happy to share my configuration files with you if
desired.

Thanks, could you just show me your qemm line, and the lines for pas, fd,
and mscdex. thanks. it sounds like carmen is the problem, I posted a
message at quarterdeck, to see what they say.
