hey! got a prob here with the meshres ipas. i embeded the orig mesh and an optimized version for an object. went to keyframer and set object attributes to render the embeded un-optimized version. fired up a range of frames to net que render. when the slave machine begins to render it gives me the duplicate object dialog box and wont let me get out! if i click on skip it goes to next object. skip simply cycles through several objects (not every one) from the scene over and over. if i click delete it remains on the object named in the window. if i click ok same thing. Has anyone else tried this yet? YOST group please help! BTW: i love 6&7! great stuff! (didnt want you guys to hear just the problem and no kudos) P.S. what will it cost me to get a replacement for my disk #7 manual? i spilled coffee all over it! klutzy me! thanks, bill.

I'm assuming that you meant that message for me instead of Ara. We've done plenty of network rendering with meshres objects here, so there's nothing I can do to help you without seeing your specific file. Zip up your project file, along with your 3dsnet.set and a text file explaining exactly what you're doing and what the error you're getting is. Send it to me via binary email and I'll take a look at it on Saturday. Re a replacement for the disk7 manual… if you send your original into the Schreiber folks with a note explaining what happened, I'm sure they'll replace it for you. – G
