I tried to use the latest incarnation of Zip, at least I think it's the latest. Zip19Lx is what I have. Anyway, Zip is on a floppy, the file I wanted to deflate is on my HD. After CD DF0: I typed Zip DH0:OnLine!/WR; WR being the file I want deflated. but the response I get is, " nothing to do OnLine!/WR.zip". I tried several variations, but always the same result. I don't use zip too often for deflation so I checked the docs, but they were of no help. I ended up using an older version of PKAZip. I would still like a hand with the newer Zip, if someone can, I'd appreciate it. —Cruising with AutoPilot at 14400 Lou Yurcsak

The Amiga versions, for some reason, have Zip and UnZip as seperate programs.

The reason for AmigaZIP & Amiga UNZIP is that pcs have ZIP & UNZIP as well. Rafa <Motorola Inside> …via AutoPilot 1.72 from Berlin

Louis, download ZIP.LHA from lib 16 of AmigaUser. It has the most current Zip and Unzip programs around. Do note that they are in seperate directories after you decompress them. "You do trust me, don't you? Of course you do." — "To Play the King" (BBC)
