Hi Franz…
>> Turbocalc is much cheaper than Pro Calc AGA, isnt it ?
Actually, I have no idea what Turbocalc runs… My local Amiga dealer doesn't
carry spreadsheets at all, so I asked them to order Pro Calc 2 AGA…
Essentially, it was the only spreadsheet (for my A4000) that I could find in
AmigaWorld (Select Solutions is advertising it for $120.00.).
I need it badly and it's due to arrive Friday, so I'll probably take it…
Meanwhile, I'll try to find those demos you've mentioned.
Thanks,
– Dave
Hi David,
Sorry for not answering your message sooner.
$ 120.00 for Pro Calc 2 AGA is a good deal, here in Germany Pro Calc 2
costs about $ 180.00.

I hope that it arrived on Friday.

I own the German demo version of TC 2.0. Are you interested to get it ?
But keep in mind that my demo version of TurboCalc is the German version.
I always thought that the English demo version of TC 2.0 is available
here in Compuserve Amiga software library.

Hi Franz,
Pro Calc 2.0 AGA did arrive from my local dealer Friday. (Should mention
AmigaWorld ads from Select Solutions listed the price at $120, Creative at $69,
– my local dealer charged $89.)

Well, I did a browse of the AmigaUser Forum as well as a file find on "Turbo",
"Pro", and "Calc" but wasn't able to locate any demos of the spreadsheets…
And you're right – I probably wouldn't be as interested in a German version as
much as an English version.
So, as it is I plan to run through the paces with Pro Calc 2.0…
If I find it inadequate, most likely I'll get Equis Pulse on the GG 486
emulator that I have.
Thanks,
– Dave
