It is really odd how many people seem to jump on that line with similar
remarks about various "dignitaries". Gould, Clinton, Mehdi Ali etc. Think
I will change it for a while. Too bad AP doesn't support gatling gun
libraries of gratuitious wit, also called fortune cookie machines.

I wrote an AREXX script that will put a random tagline in a forum
signature, however, since you can't run AREXX from the message editor, it
can't create a tagline for each new message… just each session. I don't
useit however, because TAGPASTE (the program I am using) insists on
putting a line between "Chris – Fast and low on my '020" and the
tagline… therefore the tagline gets bumped by AP. If I remove ALL lines
from my signature, then it will put the tagline on the second line, which
is acceptable, but it doesn't put your name in the signature.
As soon as I figure out a little more about 'C' I'll get this worked
out!<g>

Sounds promising Chris, one of the little amenities of life we take for
granted. I am trying presently to learn another frontend with a flying
carpet motif on another network and AP is looking better every day to me.

actually, such a wheel has already been invented. One of the regulars
has a cookie routine built, via ARexx, into his copy of BackTalk. It
wouldn't take much to convert it for AP.

It's also interesting to note that if Will Rogers _had_ met Bill
Clinton, he would have liked him; and just as likely thereafter taken
political potshots at him that would make a typical Leno monologue look
really poor.
The line, guys, is "I never MET a man I didn't like" (emphasis mine),
and it meant that he never PRE-judged ANYONE.

Correct, and the reason I am a great admirer of my fellow Oklahoman. He
represented much of what was good about the common man.
As for Clinton, I would guess almost everyone who meets him likes him, he
is a very charming and personable guy. That and his liberal left politics
make him a darling of the press. Unfortunately it leaves business and the
conservative right cold as ice. I won't even mention the pentagon since
they only obey orders and express no official position (ha!). I do not
feel kindly to the attempts to portray him as a return to Camelot and a
reincarnation of John F. Kennedy either.
Anyone know where I can buy an Amiga 4000T north of the Canadian border?
