"What's New" Library
4 messages in this thread
It is really sad to see the "what's new" library section
gone…checking it was one of my favorite pastimes–a one-stop place
to check the pulse of the forum and the Autodesk Multimedia
community.
I liked the fact that all the sections were lumped together there.
That way, we saw a cross section of what was happening as opposed to
the narrow focus of the library sections.
Please restore "What's New" or provide an equally broad and up-to-date
view of the action in the forum.

Joe MacRae's daily automated "library upload – post_a_summary here" script is a
good start. There will be up to date section catalogs soon. After those two are
consistantly in place we'll be asking for feedback for continuous improvement.

If you're "driving manually" on Compuserve, just go to any library, then say
'bro lib:all' and you'll see the new files, listed one at a time, from newest
to oldest. I'm sure other "automatic" telecom programs have a similar feature.
I'm using WinCIM 1.0.4…. I suppose that I could get handy with Compuserve
commands, but I really feel that an easy to use "What's New" equivalent is
necessary and important part of what this forum was and should be.
