Hi All! I have a GVP Series II 030 board, and have noticed alot of games don't work anymore… I have an icon, boot 68000 on my harddrive, but it doesn't seem to do anything. How do I boot the 68000 so I can play games? Karl

Karl, If you have the same board I do, then there's a jumper on the board that "turns off" the whole board, as if it isn't there. What you should do is wire a switch to it, then before you turn on the Amiga, flip the switch to select which processor to use. The only problem is that you lose the RAM and hard disk connected to the card as well as the speed. Check with GVP to see which jumper it is – on mine, it's top center, on the power supply side. With the board disabled, games run normally. Hope this helps. Jerry

Thanks Jerry; Was sure that the docs said I just had to click the icon and it would boot 68000 mode. It did say I would lose the drive, and ram, though. I don't mind losing the drive and ram whilst playing games ….. Anyhow, I guess I will hire an archeologist to sift through my house, and find my GVP docs <g> Thanks Again! Karl
