Does anyone know of a source for the -08 version of the Western Digital SCSI chip for the A3000? The exact chip number is WD33C93APL00-08. It solves a lot of problems on the external SCSI port associated with the -04 "proto" chip which came with early 3000's. Thanks for any information or leads. Ivan

Software Hut carries them at a fair price. — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing

Dale They are on back order at Software Hut. I've got a couple of other inquiries out. Thanks. Ivan

Hello again, SMG has the SCSI chip…You will pay for them though. I tried to get 2 Busters from them only to wait two weeks before I called SMG. Software Hut said that they too had them on back order with SMG. However, when I called the SMG parts department they had them in stock and the Busters and SCSI chip were sent out pronto. Again, brace for the cost $50.00 (eh gads!). But who can say anything when you got to have it. Shawn Silent Paw Productions
