DS9 took me a while, but there are still a few I don't like. B5 I didn't like at first, but I liked the graphics. Eventually the show caught up to the graphics. I really haven't seen a Voyager that I liked yet and have a lot of trouble sitting through it. It just seems to me they are trying to live off the old stuff. It's all been done before. Better even. Then again that's just my opinion. I especially don't like the ship. Looks like a model. -Sam J. Bowling

Different strokes for >different folks? Yeah, but a Star Trek show has never force-fed the personalities (such as they are) and convictions of its characters to the viewers the way that Voyager does. These characters are not people to me, they're cardboard cutouts of PC stereotypes (except for Tuvok, who's a cardboard cutout of Spock and the worst Vulcan I've ever seen – emotionless doesn't mean personality-less). Picard never jumped down your throat yelling "See how calm and diplomatic I am!" The purpose of Science Fiction was _never_ be an exact replica of today's society, rather to provide you with stories and characters that let you examine your present situations on your own. Voyager treats me like an idiot, and lets me decide nothing for myself. Does that make sense? <g> Adam D&A Software
