Hello Trevor, You should perhaps send a question directly to Tim Wilson in this forum. He built the Humanoid and KineModelz suite of objects and has a lot of experience with both Lightwave and Imagine. I can tell you this: Impulse has a Win32s program almost ready called WinImagine. I would consider it to be a contender; Probably both WinImagine and Lightwave 4.0 are about equivalent – both good. But if you've got a little while, download the file LW_vs_IM.txt.
