Hi my name is shaun and i am 30. i have a cd32 and help to support the amiga 1200 to friends. i love the amiga and its operating system and would hate to see it just disappear. i just wish that the 32 had a floppy disk interface for save game facility instead of the 1k buffer, (why didn't it have a floppy drive built in or at least an interface. i would like to know if anybody could advise me on how to set up an amiga video lead to a vga monitor for the 1200. i already have a lead with the 23 pin connection on it, all i need now is the wiring information to the vga connector…help i would also know which libraries contain new datatypes for os3.0 ie BMP,PCX files. also, has anybody heard if escom are planning to up the operating system and finally put the amigas into expandable boxes with hard drives as standard??? finally, thanks to all who have responded to my questions about the pc reading amiga disks..it looks like this is a very popular question..and one that will not disappear… i would prefer mail to my address rather than to the forum, cheers. o o i < >

I have instructions on how to make a 23 pin to vga cable connector that will work with vga monitors. Though I haven't tried it, it looks pretty simple. I don't know if it appears here in the libraries or not. If you want, I could upload it.
