Andy: I think it's just a personal decision. I had an A2000 w/GVP '030 22mhz
accelerator and it did very well for me. I recently upgraded to an A3000
because of the bus width, primarily. I know little about the A1200 but
personally, I want a machine with slots for upgradibility (Is that a real
word?). You know more about AGA than I. I feel that the "easy" upgrade thru a
slot is very important. A couple pieces of advice if you decide to go for it:
1. Wait and look for the right price and/or extras.
2. If mail order, use COD. I got burned once. It's not fun and a couple of
bucks for COD would have been MUCH cheaper. Good luck! Tom
Yeah I know the feeling about COD. The court case is coming up.
Even the fraud squad are involved in my little incedent, dawn raids and all
that. It is little comensation for the loss of 300 quid.
