Has anyone noticed the ad on page 66 of May's Amiga Shopper, for CDWRITE?
It suggests that you can write to a CD with an ordinary CDRom.
Does anyone know of this item?
I tried contacting the Advertisers GTI here on Compuserve with no sucess.

Yes. If you alter files on a CD, the difference will be stored on your
harddisk.
It does not (of course!) allow you to write to the CD, as this is simply
impossible.
But it is very handy, if you wish to customize some CDs (e.g., changing
protection bits, altering script files or ToolTypes).
