Frederic, CD-32s will be in production too, eh? CD-32s integrated in televisions? Hmm, sounds interesting, possibly a good platform for Scala MultiMedia and InfoChannel playback. Hey, I wonder if ESCOM would support one of the new Digital Video Disk formats. You know, the ones that can store 2 to 4 GB of storage? Hah, ESCOM is entertaining Dave Haynie's idea of a PCI based modular platform to run Windows, PowerMac and Amiga. Interesting. Strange that Mr. Birkinbine did not mention our company, but rather NewTek. I can understand contacting NewTek for applications and peripheral hardware, yes. But for new computer development? As to the MIDI question, I wonder what it would take to add the Ensoniq 16-Bit Wavetable Synthesis chip onto the motherboard. Why Ensoniq? Well, why not? The President and founder of Ensoniq developed the SID chips on the old 8-Bit Commodores. Might as well come full circle. Then again, there is Roland and Kurzweil. Regards, John Chang
