Hi, I've just uploaded a couple of more simple meshes as STUFF2.zip, in case anyone cares. I am reluctantly u/l these, as I sloppily *threw* them together….didn't even use drafting aids to square up lines, etc.. (so don't tell me <g>) This is all I had time to do, and they only took a few minutes each. Included is 2 examples of simple common objects, which aren't necessariliy so geometrically simple. That is, they're not so easy to construct quickly with most modelers. Please find a sculptured keycap and a mouse (not mickey). They are only uploaded as 2 examples of "normal" (not Skin lattices) DXF conversions into 3DS from R3D. Please examine & render to observe that they shade pretty well with no modification or tweaking, even though the geometry might suggest otherwise. Check it out. Oh, John Stetzer has been testing and providing me feedback for the book, and he has created some nice stuff already to upload. Please look for those too. Thanks, BILL
