Hi,
today I was trying to create an effect in the keyframer which simulates
a camera dollying combined with a simultaneous narrowing of the FOV. (i.e.
changing of the perspective in KF). My problem is now that a camera move is a
linear function while a FOV change is not (IMO it's a tangens). Result: the
object first zooms away from my POV and then it zooms back in. I have tried
(almost) anything with TCB and both Eases but to no effect. What can I do that
the object stands rock steady in the middle of the picture and merely changes
the perspective? Does anyone have any hints, clues,
step-by-step-tutorials-with-glossy-pictures <g>? Any help would be appreciated.

There's an IPAS routine (with a demo somewhere here in the forum) that does
exponential zooms, making the shot you want to accomplish easy. Take a look
around (and perhaps someone with a better memory than I can remember what it's
called).

answer was going to be as I've done some thorough research on this topic using
