I am creating a bulldog and I would like to have the floppy part of the flew that hangs down to be attached to the nose, but I can't seem to make it smooth. No matter how many balls I create and clump together, I still get a real bumpy effect. Do you have any suggestions as to how to make it smooth? I've tried SMOOTH from bones. Since I can't manipulate this small section in real time, it is almost impossible to pinpoint which balls are doing what. Thanks. -James Franssen

Hi James, Generally if I want a smooth shape, I'll create my spheres so that the outer edge of each sphere lies at the center point of its neighbors. This is dependent, however, on your polygon size and your fusion values, softer spheres need not be as close as harder spheres. You'll have to do some experimenting. If you still have troubles, I'd be happy to take a look at your mesh. -Kyle
