Hello,
>>How do I cap the top and bottom of an extruded polyline areas 3dsout from
AutoCAD R13 to 3ds? Or how can I fix them once in 3ds?<<
If the AutoCAD polylines are closed, you can .dxf out each polyline and import
them into 3DS's 2DShaper, then in the 3DLofter when you loft that polyline
shape you can tell it to cap the ends. Thats a pretty simple way that works
for us, hope it helps.

Closed Polylines are capped whe you transfer the data from AutoCAD to 3D Studio
via DXF. AutoCAD's 3DSOUT procedure does not support capping (and does not give
control of arc segmentation).
