Sure thing, Doug! Just got word that the SuperMicro Pipelined Pentium Mobo should be available in a couple weeks. I have one on order + EDO Ram. Blows away the competition!. -Scott

Nice try, but we custom build systems for animators that "blow away the competition". EDO memory is a nice buzz word but there are better places to spend your money when designing a system. Send me your specs via email – if you want a quote on some REAL horsepower! Matt Armstrong / TRG

Scott, Sorry for taking so long to get back to the forum. Just e-mail your specs and I'll take it from there. We have a lot of experience building high performance systems specifically for the animation industry. We try to maximize your "Bang for the Buck" and put the money into the components that really make the difference. Other considerations are future use's for your system i.e. video capture, frame buffer, shared PCI IRQ vs. assignable, network rendering… All of these and a multitude of others influence the selection of motherboard, video adapter, drive controller, and hard drives. Each system is different and any one "canned" super system usually lacks in performance in one or more areas. Thanks – Matt
