#new PAR and NT ???
4 messages in this thread
Hi,
After some thought I remember reading somewhere that video for
windows is all 16 bit stuff not 32.
So if this is true why does the new Preception board need to run in NT??
Does anybody know if it will run in Chicago ???
Thanks Bob from The Design Shop..
Bob,
>>video for windows is all 16 bit stuff not 32.<<
-HERE IS MY $.02 WORTH- on this question.
VFW is needed for all of your DDL's/MMPlayer applications, the PVR
hardware/software should be independent of this. The PVR is using a 32 bit PCI
bus for a faster thru-put, and I would think that the software will be taking
advantage of it.

It doesn't, the Perception software will be shipping with a Windows 3.1
version in late June and the NT version will follow sometime around SIGGRAPH.

You won't need to if you want to be running 3DS5 on NT, the PVR app. will be
running right along with 3DS5.

Windows and Windows NT will be shipping June 15th.

Thanks David, I did not get that conformation at NAB, they said Windows for
sure and NT by Siggraph, this is great news!
