Im interested in using Animator Studio with Razor Pro+PAR system on my Windows PC. Currently I use Razor Pro with PAR to record and edit 3-D animations, created in TrueSpace and combine them with existing video (captured through TBC-IV card). In general this is very powerful system but I also need to add some 2-D animation capabilities to it. So my question about Animator Studio is whether it has any additional features that are unavailable in TrueSpace+Razor Pro? Also can Animator Studio import or export the series of 24 bit or 32 bit compressed 752×480 *.TGA files (with alpha channel)? Can it support MCI devices (DPS announced MCI device for its PAR hardware)? Any help will be greatly appreciated. –Igor Ejelev

Igor, >> whether it has any additional features that are unavailable in TrueSpace+Razor Pro?<< Yes. The basic and important feature is 2D, time-based painting and cell animation. Many of the features are like Photoshop, but with time-based capabilities. For instance, choosing a matte using a magic wand .. but in AniStud, you can apply it across multiple frames of an animation to create a mask which dynamically tracks your selection.
