This is embarassing but when I set my session setting to 144 baud and
Log on, my modem still is trying to DL your Bmp file @ 2400!! A 20min DL!
Would it be at all possible to zip the bmp or get a gif conversion zipped? I
just have to see your design! Maybe Gayle could convert it, zip it and Email
it
to me.( I pay, of course)

Does the phone number that you're calling support more than 2400 baud?

As Jonas said, is the phone number you are calling capable of higher baud
rates? GO PHONES will give you a list of the node numbers in your area and what
baud they are capable of. Most modes that will accept 14400 baud have to be set
at 19200 as a rate to work properly.
