Can anybody direct me to a list of CD-ROM publishers…not distributors. Is
there a magazine or newsletter where I might dig the information out.

There are two directories that do the best job (although even their best
efforts are always incomplete). One is "CDROMs in Print" by Meckler
Publishing (203/226-6967), the other is published by an English company –
TFPL – called "The CDROM Directory". their no. is +44 71 251-5522, +44 71
251-8318 (fax). They have a US office in VA around Wash DC. Both products
are in print and on disc. Both cost $100-150 in either form.
