To whom at may concern at Yost Group/Autodesk: Thanks to 3D Studio, I no longer have a life, and don't miss it. Can I sue for punative damages? A new 3DS junkie.

Ack… At least you didn't say "I no longer have a wife!" If you did, she would probably have grounds to pursue legal action. Ouch! I just spilled some scalding hot coffee on my lap! Don't get me a towel… get me a lawyer! <g> – G

Gary <don't get me a towel… get me a lawyer> just hire one of those sharks you see while diving. Chase may be pleased to hear the most recent rumor regarding R5/NT – comes bundled with Brown Horsehair Robes (2) one size fits all. Jeffrey

Chase, Seeing as how I know the development team on 3DS, and that they're friends of mine, your statement caused me undue emotional distress. Therefore, I am suing you for $1000 legal fees, as well as $1.76 trillion punitive damages for reincarnation trauma, karmic impairment and general yucky feelings of woe, dread and angst. Enjoy your freedom while it lasts, 'cuz I'm gonna sue you so hard… — Jon

Sorry, but just hearing the word "sue" has given me ulcers, so I'll be taking litigation action against you in the morning.

WOW, Adesk has never heard this before! (ROFL) JD/dpc

>> Sorry, but just hearing the word "sue" has given me ulcers, … Much as I hate to pull the plug on your suit <g>, it now seems quite clear that ulcers are not caused by stress, emotional or any other. Rather it comes from a bacteria infection. Hence the treatment is an antibiotic, not a truckload of money <g>.

> Hence the treatment is an antibiotic, not a truckload of money <g> < Aww man, you shouldn't have stuck your neck out, albert. Now you run the risk of being sued for shattering his ambitions!! (And I'll probably be the subject of a class-action suit for wasted download time for not taking this to Take5!!) — James — Choreo Motion —

Jon, >>Seeing as how I know the development team on 3DS, and that they're friends of mine…<< This is off the topic but… Anything you can tell us about Tom and Dan? I'm curious what these geniuses are like… Mark

If you want to learn about Dan Silva, go steal an old copy of Deluxe Paint 2 or 3 from an Amiga owner 🙂 Chase

Chase, Dan Silva wrote that one too I understand. We have a bunch of people here at Enlighten who use the DOS version of Deluxe Paint. They all think Dan was a genius for originally creating that one. One guy especially. He seemed impressed that Dan wrote 3DS, but _more_ impressed with his work on DP! What information comes along with the Amiga version. I seem to recall James Coulter telling me he saw a videotape of Dan discussing DP. Is that it? I _would_ actually like to see that! Mark

Well, I guess that I have charges filed on you for Conspiring with a Felon (Life Removal, First Degree is a hanging offense, Sir), and, if that doesn't work, I will have civil damages brought against you buy my fifth cousin (twice removed) on down. REMEMBER! Don't take the law in your own hands, take them to court! I wish The People's Court was still around. 🙂 Oops…WinCIM is taking up too many CPU cycles for rending…. Chase

Chase, Perhaps we should all sue Microsoft considering that running 3DS on Windows NT effectively will cause us all to have to dig in our pockets for more money to buy ram. (not to mention deep pockets) Sanford
