Hello,
Is there anyone that can give me some assistance on how to create a
.dxb file in autocad release 12. No mattrer what I try to do i just can't seem
to figure it out. I also wonder if you have to create the file somewhere else?
Thanks for the help,
Chris

You'll get more response in the ACAD forum, but the quick answer in R12 is to
Config -> Configure plotter -> Add a plotter -> Pre ADI 4.1 file formats -> DXB
file. Then, in AutoCAD, get the drawing you want, select Plot, and choose the
file format you just selected, and you'll get a .dxb file.

Isn't it DXFOUT, then choose the <B>inary option? Yours doesn't seem wrong,
but I wonder why my initial thought was so different.
Nikki – A .dxb file is a binary vector plot file, not a .dxf in binary vs.
ASCII format.
Ahh. I'm glad I brought up the wrong answer – I just learned something!
Thanks.
Always use the 'B' output command with your dxf output, it is the highest in
accuracy.
Mark.
Ooops,
thought you said dxF
sorry!
