Ted,

I don't know yet, I haven't seen the line up of coarses. I may attend The CAD
Institute by then (if at all). What is your opinion of that concept? Will I
actually learn much? Will a degree in MM be much help in finding work? Do you
know anything about the place at all?
I'm sending the lamp model to ASHOWCASE today. Tell me what you think.

Cad Institute has a excellent reputation and is very involved in VR, but I
don't know much in the way of specifics.
My wild guess is that if you want exposure to all aspects of MM then a school
like CI would be a good place to get it. If you are highly self motivated and
ambitious, on the other hand, you could do well looking for work in a place
like LA, SF, NY and learning on the job. This option is not the easy way
remember, but it could be very rewarding.
Keep in mind that I know little about education. My experience is in
professional training and the two are very different.
The topic would make an interesting thread, perhaps over in the NAAUG section
14.
I'll be looking for your upload, it will probably take a day or two.
