Does anybody know of any software similar to Premiere that will allow the
creation of MPEG files? I have created some using CMPEG, a DOS command for
creating these animations from a series of TGA files, but I would like an
editing program that I can do green screens, wipes, titles, etc. I have the
RealMagic board installed for playback, and the animations that I have created
are excellent quality, however lack the added touch of post-edits.

From what I've heard, you can't edit an MPEG file like you can an AVI file.
Perhaps the best method would be to create your video as an AVI, use Premier
for wipes, etc. then use one of the shareware programs that convert AVI to
MPEG…
