Thank you! The humor is completely inline w/ my own ( I may Unclick

to destroy this evidence of dementia) (G) It's very funny. The graphics ARE
very good!!!!!!
The only parts that made me wistful were the devil complete w/ tongue in
the Microwave (lost poor ol' "Smoky" my poodle that way) and the common folk
interviewed outside the Double-wide trailer? (loose some teeth and put banjos
in their hands and you got my Kin-folk)!!<GG> Some of the characters are TRULY
strange!!!! It's the perfect start for a National Lampoon news reel like
"Not Necessarily the News"!! I wish there were true lampoon-like programs but
the humor is just too specific I guess! I will stay away from a definition for
"specific".<g><sigh>
Why couldn't this be cut into installments? It's cool!!
OK!! I've got my "G.Gordon Liddy Schlept Here" hat marinating as I type
and a fire in the Barbi!

Well actually it was, I sent you "the best of…" <g> Which was a years
compilation. 🙂 What's really strange is that when you first view it you think
its all a joke, but after you view it for a time, you begin to realise that
some of it is actually true, which is really very wierd. Like Dr. Campo. He's
for real. And that is pretty wierd. Another wierd thing among many, was that
about a year after we'd done the devil in the Microwave piece, there was an
Enquirer story about a possessed Refigerator. <G> There have been more than a
few bizarre similarities like that.
My two favorites are the Color Miata, and Big Foot. I love the scene where he's
dragging the car door away! I don't know why but it just strikes me as terribly
funny. <G> On the color changing Miata it was a stock Blue, and the ultimatte
keyed it beautifully. That would be a fun feature to have in a car. I'd
especially like a "stealth" mode. <g>
So I take it you checked out the "bump" shot? (The wide shot with the crane and
the cameras etc.) Some people have actually thought it was real. Now of course
it would be much easier to do a photorealistic scene, but at the time, that was
pretty amazing stuff. And people didn't know about "matte" scenes like they do
today.
Alot of attention to detail was made on the printing press animation. The
buildings behind the window actually move etc. Like in a real cartoon. I
remember alot of little esoteric details like that. Really sticks in my mind
all the work that went into it for some reason, unlike most animations since.
Its mostly "flash and trash" now. <g>
There's a bunch of curious things but one I wondered if you recognised was the
opening host Jay North, do you know who he is? Just curious… as if you
don't, you might be suprised.
Anyway glad you're enjoying it, it belatedly struck me that of all the people I
might have sent it to, you more than most, might really get a kick out of it.
And as you have, it makes it especially fun.
And, like I said, you can spare the hat. You should be cookin a big old Texas
sized steak on that Barbi. I miss the giant Porter House steaks in Tucson,
mesquite grilled, Wow! Good stuff… and fairly inexpensive.
We really worked like hell on that show; you've made it live again, and that's
great. 🙂
I appreciate the compliments BTW. That's a complex area which I find difficult
to evaluate. I consider myself compitent but anymore than that gets too bent…
extruded… lofted… I don't know. <g>
I'd be interested to see your work sometime, if you're willing. I gather you do
quite a bit of architectural renderings.
