Since switching to Adobe 2.1.1 PostScript driver, 10% (black) shading comes out
as coarse, big dots.
How can this be avoided? Is any other driver better?

We have never seen this particular problem at Adobe with this driver. We don't
set any screen values from within the driver. Are you using a pattern or a
uniform fill? Were you setting any lpi settings from the Microsoft driver
previously?I would be glad to look at the Word document if you send a copy of
it via CompuServe mail to me directly.
