I read the BPL02563.ASC and find it quite uninformative. I am about to buy one
of these printers and don't know how to tell if one is still subject to recall
or is a "fixed" version. They should at least have indicated some way for the
owner to know – such as serial number.
I see CompUSA indicates a $40 "instant rebate" on the 5P – is this because the
ones they have for sale have not yet been "fixed" and the buyer will have to
wait for the fix to be installed?
