Thanks for the heads-up on the NT printer issue. I had seen the 255 figure
in the book, but wondered what the practical limit was and if there was any
advantage to DLC vs TCPIP. I did not know that the DLC was not routable so
that will be a big help.
I had a HP 1200C and a HP 4M Plus working but had intermittant problems. Now
I cannot see either one when you try to check the config. I even deleted them,
checked to see that DLC was running and tried to re-create the printers. Still
no luck. The HP test print shows lots of bad packets received so I may have a
network problem not related to the printers.
